03:09 - New opening! This is opening 6, Brand New World by D-51. In its full 720p glory including a new K-F logo. It's worth mentioning that the animation on this opening got slightly modified a few episodes in. For example, at 04:08 they added more animation to Sanji and Nami. We will switch to the newer version at the appropriate episode.

07:22 - We are now introduced to all of the CP9 members. We have Lucci, Kaku, Califa, Blueno, Jabura, Kumadori, Fukurou, and finally Spandam.

08:09 - Kumadori is portrayed as a crazy and awesome Kabuki-like character.

09:31 - Here we have a repeat of the Sogeking Theme with new animation. Awesome. Also they didn't hard-code the Japanese lyrics so I took the liberty of adding them. If you compare mine with theirs it doesn't match up perfectly, but that's just because I chose to use more kanji as opposed to hiragana and not to write out all the elongated vowels.

09:47 - I know it looks ugly with the line on top of the "Sogeking" text, but this was unavoidable.

11:07 - The "caped baboons" Luffy is referring to are hamadryas baboons. In Japanese their name is "manto hihi" (マント狒々) which literally means "cape baboon." The name comes from the fact that males "have a pronounced cape which they develop around the age of ten."

11:32 - We see Sogeking writing "Chopper-kun e" (チョッパーくんへ), which just means "For Chopper-kun."

11:50 - Now we see the end of Sogeking's signature. The only thing really discernable is the last syllable of his name, "gu" (グ). It overlaps with a bunch of other stuff which is evidence that he has invented an extremely sloppy and over-the-top signature.

12:42 - Sogeking is having them repeat an entire phrase at the start, but it gets shorter and shorter until now he's having them repeat single words. What a silly guy.

14:40 - The reason Nami hits Luffy so suddenly is that until he said Robin's name, it was not explicit who he was talking about never forgiving. The natural assumption was that he was yelling at CP9. But when he says Robin's name it becomes clear and Nami gets pissed at him. Unfortunately, the nuance of this situation is hard to translate.

21:44 - New ending! This is ending 18, Adventure World by Delicatessen. It's also the last ending, ever! And a k-timing nightmare.
