HERES A SUPER QUICK GUIDE HOW TO USE IRC!(sorry the caps)

hmm.. i dont have much time, gotto get down on doing my essay, so ill do this simple and then tell you later on the full thing, ok?

k, so first download this:
mIRC 6.21

then install it and when done, run it.

Once it opens, you should get a window saying "mIRC Options"

There should be:

Full Name
Email Adress
Nickname
Alternative

Okay, lets fill those first.
Full Name: Monkey Avenger (doesnt matter what you put there)
Email Adress: monkey@is.hot (doesnt matter what you put there)
Nickname: MonkeyAvenger (This is important, this is the nickname everyone will see you with. no dots! no spaces! ie: Monkey-Avenger is ok!)
Alternative: MonkeyAvenger_ (This is the same as nickname, expect it will automatically use it, if someone else is yousing your primary nickname,  so put something in the end of your nick, like ^^ or _ - 123 something.)

Invisible mode: OFF!

Then press OK!

now, go to the thread, and the first post. I posted a "Fast Link" there, click it, if your using firefox, it should say something like "IRC Links are opened in a diffrent program/software".. there should be 2 buttons, click the one on the left. something like "Run Program" or like that.. not the "Cancel"

Ok, now it should be in the mIRC window, a new window should have opened with 3 options, select the first one, and then press OK. Your done smile

Umm, no you can do it with Internet Explorer.. i just cant remember what it says.. let me check

Internet Explorer: It doesnt pop up any new window about this is supposed to be opened with some software..
it goes straight to mIRC and theres the window with the 3 options..

Well everything seems to be going well everyone seems to know what theyre doing, Ive got exams cumming up so I probably cant help out much in the next week. Sorry I know I offered to help captain vattu but yah my exams dates got changed and now theyre earlier so sorry i promiss to make it up later.

About the whole IRC thing. Well do u have to pay for it? Cuz mine opens (sort of) on a kaizaku page thing and a box apears saying ive got 2 days left for trial b4 i have to register man (out of risk of sounding like a total noob) i dont even know what well be using IRC for. Last time i tried to used it i never got the hang of it so i forever cursed the very existance of IRC and burned my few memories of it (slight over exageration there... but u get the idea)

Once I get passed my exams I promise to participate more and read through all the other jobs and see if i can handle anything other than proof reading and quality checking. But for now I'll just wait for the full IRC explanation so I can try to get the hang of it once more...

That's just a very poorly done demo... i tried cleaning it a bit, actually i did clean it, but my computer decided to do whatever it wanted and saved it unclean for some reason.. I kept it simple, simple logos are usually the most attractive, and sell better (that and paint sux).. anyway i wanted to make the logo and the letters to have a glow in the back, red glow.. paint wouldnt let me, so i left it like that... I personally like the font of EZRA SCANS.. anyway, if there's any feedback, and ideas are much appreciated.. I personally like it simple, not that simple, but simple

EDIT: bear with me, I dont have photoshop yet, so all i can do is work on paint for now

what are artifacts? I know how to clean and work on photoshop, but the saving and file types i know nothing about

artifacts meaning the crap in the image making it look all dirty and shitty
its nice just for the love of god change the font

and vattu-, I think you did a really good job! In the sound effects tho, the tsu hiragana is kinda weird in comparison to the others.. fuzzy
