I usually go Meld>(range increase skill)>meld>rangeincrease>meld>ult>meld>range>range> and so forth.
the reason for this is, unless you have range, your meld means shit. they have to get super duper close to you, melee range close. And most of the time i can guess where she is if i know she is in my lane and not even speaking when i see her meld T_T.

Far from the best. But she IS one of the most broken. Puck, on the other hand, is balanced. He's spell-dependant, so any silencer will fuck him over. Dying to Silencer a couple times will REALLY mess a Puck up, since they need a large mana pool to keep up their spams. People say Illusory Orb is wicked overpowered, but that's just because they're making it seem like it does everything with great efficiency... 1) It's slow and easily avoided; 2) The damage is pathetic; 3) It's VERY slow for an escape mechanism, and wastes its damage if used like this. While it is very powerful, you need to stack it with other damage to really scare people, and you need to have killer aim to hit a team that knows what they're doing. Guinsoo owns Puck. The only thing that doesn't own Puck is straight up nukes/spamming, because he can just shift out of the damage before it lands. But then again, ANY wind walker can do the same thing if they time it right. The difference is Puck can spam it. But NO professional league game relies on pure damage to win it. It's almost 80% disables, which own Puck like a silly little bitch. He's fun, most assuredly, and killer farming, but not broken... not at all.

you make him look like a bad hero when he really is a good hero.
1. The orb lets you initiate so u can go in and silence the other team with that other skill.
2. U can chase effectively with the orb.
3. The ulti+silence rape really hard in team fights. If you bait a hero up a hill or around a ocrner and ulti right before they get vision it owns.

Anyway. I think Puck is overpowered, not as much as lanaya tho.

I believe I made him sound normal, not bad. I could make Bloodseeker sound normal (and I have, page 3 I think), Lion, Tinker, Clinkz, etc etc. There are those heroes whom people believe to be WAY too good... when they're not. Puck is that; normal, but people whine about him. He's not overpowered whatsoever. Yes, he's GREAT in a team setting, but that's why he's normal. Alone, he's fucked. There ARE heroes who can take on whole groups in the right circumstances, and that's just wrong. Puck can't. He has his niche, and he's REAL good in there. He's a great addition to DOTA, and the best and most balanced of the last 7 heroes they've introduced in the last 4 patches.
EDIT: Incidently, can anyone explain what they did when they "rebalanced" Void's ult? Last time they did that, it was on Pit Lord's Dark Portal, and that thing changed into 3 ENTIRELY different versions! Void's looks the same as always... what's new?

I just checked out some articles on the "new dota website" (some eSports site that just recently added a DOTA section), and 2 of the recent articles were on MHers discovered in HUGE LEAGUE GAMES!!! Even their own TEAMMATES didn't know until they were found out! 1 pissed me off, though, when the leader of one team said he didn't care what aliases he and his partners had to come back under, he'd win a tournament, even if it meant hacking it...
Wow... what a loser.
Needless to say, it's a huge disappointment to know that MHers even managed to sneak into the big-times... but at least there's still good sportsmanship from the majority, and this scourge remains the minority...

In one of my cal matches couple of the guys on the other team are maphacking so obviously
its funny to watch replay. Anyway they werent good and i was 2 lazy to care enough to report.
Its not hard to see if someone is maphacking if you analyze the replay but you need cause to do so >_>
So if you were to use it when people try to gank you it would be obvious and you cna always check replay if they ahd wards. Same when you are running away if you try to juke multiple heroes wihtout vision of htem it becomes pretty obvious. Only good for ganking other and getting runes imo cuz that the only situation where you cna make it look natural without arising suspicion from players who know the game well.

Well, me and a few friends have pulled some amazing jukes without seeing their heroes just by analyzing the situation.
The 2 in mid are now gone, im being chased at bottom they're coming for me!! juke up to were they wont expect it, then back down and boom i win ^^.
I have a replay of my buddy as lion who was being chased at bottom (we were sent and tower was down) and he ran to the woods at bottom near tower. Now he gets cornered by 3 heros and ESCAPES some how.... it was amazing. Just watching it doesn't look that amazing but it was amazing.
Also, there is a program called hollywood hack (or hollywood antihack, something like that) and i believe all teams in league have to use it. It will let you know if someone is hacking, i dunno how but that is why my friend told me when he told us about it.
Then again, i could be wrong...

it does a little aoe damage, and stuns for like .5 seconds, now if they run out of the aoe radius they get stunned for 3 seconds and they get hurt for about 300ish damage.
also, lucifer kicks ass... i want to play him more, i dominate with him ^^V.

To be more exact, it's 100/150/200 damage per level, per nuke. It has a chance to nuke any hero within it's radius twice, no more. The first nuke ALWAYS stuns them for .5 seconds, the second nuke stuns them for 1.5/2/3 seconds each level. Essentially, the ult is like Rupture; harmless if you stand still (in this case, stay near it), painful if you try to run. However, BECAUSE it forces you to stay where you are, it sets up menacing ganks.
However, like Rupture, it suffers from an inherent lack of potency against blinking heroes. While they still get damaged and stunned if they blink away, they've still managed to cover some ground, and possible escaped into the safety of fog, no less. In general, getting a Blink Dagger seems to be a popular counter for Puck...

yeah but if you blink with rupture on, you take LOTS of damage T_T. As AM with a hoodie i still lost about 1/2 my hp from one blink.

which is why u dont blink to run...
you either blink to an unreachable spot or u stand there and take it up the ass till it is off. However all depends on situation. If he doesnt have high physicial dmg its better to take a few hits than to blink and give him the bonus move speed etc.

Bullshit. Rupture does NO MORE than 200 damage a second, and blinking counts as "1 second". You'll take 200 Damage from blinking to escape BS. Last I checked, AM has more than 400 HP when he's level 1!!! 454 in fact...

Also, hood does nothing to rupture. It's not a spell, it's a trigger. Triggered damage is pure and unstoppable, like Dispersed nukes. To be precise, the damage type of Rupture is "aura", because the spell summons a dummy unit. Anywho, if there wasn't a cap to Rupture's DOD, then porting to your fountain to escape would result in INSTANT DEATH, which never happens. Play a game as BS, just stalk somebody until they push deep into your territory and use their BOTs, then Rupture them. All you'll receive is a "lol!" when they find out they've just taken 550 damage and are safely healing at their base for the next 10-12 seconds of the spell. (For those who don't understand where the 550 comes from, at lvl 3, the initial damage from rupture is 350, and then followed by the distance damage, which caps at 200 per second. Ergo, the most that can be dealt with Rupture is no more than 550 in any second!)
There is only ONE item in the game that counters rupture, and that's BKB. It makes you untargetable to the spell, and if you activate it after being hit with it, you'll take no DOD, even though the bleeding animation will still be visible.

What do you guys think about the new items and the the almost completely new dota 6.49 version? I personally think Naix shouldn't have been remade completely if not at all. People keep on saying he was completely useless before which I don't agree with. New naix is pretty badass but I liked the old one =/
Shiva's armor is awesome. I still haven't found the proper use for Orchid's. Anyone would like to share any tips? It seems Armlet is the new item for Sven and new naix. As for boot of travel, I do think they shouldn't have been nerfed.
