Greetings Bleach animu fans! I stopped watching Bleach at...episode 163, yeah. Now, I don't plan on starting it back up but there are a few things that I'm genuinely interested in that I was hoping you'd be able to shed some light on. Ever since the beginning (more or less) I've been interested in the back-stories of the squad captains and other important members of the squads. Has there been any (more) back-story given to any of them? And I've also be extra interested in their mortal lives. Has there ever been any squad captain or member's mortal life?

Along the lines of back-story, how about Ichigo's father or Urahara and his shop crew? Any back-story given to them yet?

Sorry if this seems like I'm asking a lot but I'd really like to know about these things specifically. I really couldn't care less about Ichigo and his band of motley buddies and their exploits.

Edit: Oh, I'm not asking you to tell me all about it, but if you could give me episode numbers, even generally, that would be p. cool.

Uhh there was an arc called the Turn back the pendulum arc or something which went from 206-212 where all the Vaizoreds and Kisuke and Yoruichi were either Captain or Vice-captains and it explains the Aizen/Gin/Tousen situation better. There isnt anymore info about Isshin though. But to answer your question, there wasnt much of a backstory of current captains except Soifon and Mayuri o yeah and youll see a young Byakuya.

Falling into Muramasa's inner world. Quite nice, once more, good animation. A pleasure to watch And one of the best Getsuga in a long time, IMO. That calm voice was epic.

Ulquiorra in the omake We have to wait a little more till "da fight", but it's coming closer.

The Zanpakutou's are back. Oh RLY. Now with more Zanpa's as the main antagonist of this mini-arc. Beast Swords it seems, Zanpakutou's who have killed their respective Shinigami. So here we go for several weeks *_*

New ending, not bad at all but I like Sakurabito too much >.<!

Its like they needed more time till the main story so they just said we'll extend the filler arc but change it up slightly to make it different and call it a new arc. God I hope this arc doesn't go on too long. Then again I would rather just go ahead and see more filler now than to have them throw another 20 filler eps when the anime gets to where the manga is now so I'll be patient.

Ending wasn't bad but whats with Bleach and cherry blossoms. Personally wouldn't have minded seeing Sakurabito for another like 10 eps though.

Damn.. these fillers are annoying buttt I never really hated them. Its better then nothing. But this has gone on for way too long (the fillers). Over all this episode wasn't bad. I enjoyed it. What amazed me more is seeing how carefree Senbonzakura is.. I thought he'd be more quiet and stuff like Byakuya. But noooo he goes and gets drunk. -_- xD

Ending was good as well.

Wow this is getting quite bad. apart from a few cheap chuckles the last few have been major let downs and I'm easy to please

tbh I've been enjoying naruto more than bleach recently and that's saying something as naruto has been like a fit girlfriend who became the love of my life, soon after proposing though she piled on the pounds and we were stuck with eachother.

Seems she hits the slim-fast in later eps of Shipuuden

Let's hope they could implement a GOOD pacing when the manga storyline returns (in Bleach case, we're talking about 1:3 at least, better 1:4... but this would be too much and we'll end swallowing the manga chaps that are left in no time xD).

Like seriously what happened to the filler story. They started out with "oooh we gotta do something about the beast swords" and now its like "fuck it, lets just make a whole lotta filler episodes about babysitting and sewer octopi." Not to mention the beast swords went from looking like materialized zanps like they're supposed to, to just plain people with glowing eyes swinging swords.
