TO get to the kf site I usally type in kf on my google search bar and then I click on the link ( there are probally easier or better ways of doing this but i choose this way) And lately kaizoku fansub's link has not been poping up so i went to the bottom of the page and saw this "In response to a complaint we received under the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act, we have removed 1 result(s) from this page. If you wish, you may read the DMCA complaint that caused the removal(s) at ChillingEffects.org." It seems like the DMCA (Copyright) Complaint to Google is sent by Funimation Enterainment.
I was just wondering (and hoping) if its not a big deal.
here's the link if anyone is interested http://www.chillingeffects.org/notice.cgi?sID=152822
... isn't this what bookmarks are for?
LOL I used to do that like 2 years ago. now just type a "k" in my address bar and K-F homepage is the first suggestion. and I use mozilla, so there is a handy 1-click bookmark below the address bar.
still this is a good information.
Drag the bookmark to a place under the addressbar and BOEM! a button directly to KF! (Might need to switch on Bookmarkbar first)
It's just stupid. You search and the homepage itself doesn't show up, but the download page does. I wonder if the ones filing the DMCA's have brains at all, and if they're actually doing it for the copyright owners, and not at random. As long as SOPA doesn't pass, it's not the end of the world.....
It's right there in the DMCA request, its not Funimation but a removal company. Someone made it their business model to screw with the google results. I guess if you want to get technical you could complain to google, because the front page doesn't actually contain any copyright content.
